Anyways, we've got mostly positive feedback on our handin, only problems being we have to narrow our chosen subject more specifically, as well as we have to in our final report argument for our chosen information gathering methods. So all in all we're well going :)
Yesterday we did brainstorming of our main subject, motivation:
In short, we've tried to summarize all motivating factors
Also we did some initial idea generation based on above brainstorm (bit difficult to read, come see our board instead):
In short: Ideas!
Our main idea generator was Sandra. Kirthy and Benjamin soon realised that both of them had a hard time generating ideas, since they did not have any experience with retraining and physio therapy. Sandra has been through a retraining process with her back, so she knows the drill.
So to give us a better base for generating ideas, we've decided to try and execute some field studies. We contacted Aarhus Universitetshospitals physio therapist department, but they told us many of their physio therapists were home sick today, so they didn't have time for us to come and observe. We then realised that there's a private physio therapist department right next to uni, so Benjamin and Kirthy (Sandra was sick) went over there to see if we could perform observations at their place. Despite their inital attitude ("Are you going to replace our jobs!?!"), they would ask on their next meeting (tomorrow) if any of their employees were interested in having us along. Also, they gave us some brochures from "Krop & Fysik" (Body and Physique) from which we could read and get some understading.
We've also decided to focus on retraining from knee injuries, and later on we might widen the product to be useable on other body parts. But knees for now.
