Today we went to the physiotherapist to test our prototype on some patients with knee problems. As we were trying to test it, we found out that the internet connection at the physiotherapist was too slow and couldnt update/reload the server as fast we needed it for our product.
We decided to test it at the university, so arranged some of the patients to come to the university later today.
We have tested some students at the university; one was thinking loud, and one student who got an introduction how to interact/use our product.

We have been discussing about which business model fits to our product and to get an idea what we should include in our assignment.

Week 22

The prototype is now working; the flex sensor is sending information to arduino which sends further information the computer. The computer sends information to a server where the app constanly will be reloading.

We have decided which usability testing methods we should use for our testing of prototype. Tomorrow we have an appointment with some of the knee patients we have been interviewing ealier, to test our product.

Over the past two weeks we have been drawing paintings needed for a game, using Photoshop.

We have been testing the kneeband; we tried to place the sensor at different places and was testing to see which place on the kneeband would be the optimal side for the sensor, hence giving us the best results.

As well as this, we have started to read a lot about how to create an app and have started working on it.

Day Twentynine

We spend the day making drawings and writing the hand in for today.
We have made drawings on how our knee wrap is going to look, where the sensor is going to be placed and how we are going to show whether it is turned on.

Beside that we made drawings of how our game is going to look like and how it is going to work with the knee wrap.  We have discussed how the best way to get a person engaged in the game, if there should be a figure in both games or if that would decrease personification. We decided that a figure would work in one game but not in the other.
Our Mario-ish game

 Our Arc game:

Beside that we have made a visualization of how our interface for the physiotherapist is going to be, we decided that a good overview was a main point and that searching for patients should be easy. We came up with the following design.

Log in site for physiotherapist

Main menu, choose/search patients

Grafical view of patients traning at home

How to add a patient to the system.
